One notable difference is the addition of an extra Thunderbolt port on the M4 Pro, bringing the total to three. This brings the M4 Pro in line with the M3 Pro and M3 Max models regarding connectivity.

Replacing the battery, for instance, still requires removing the trackpad due to the adhesive tabs located underneath.
