Apple Music Replay 2024 is live, offering subscribers a comprehensive look at their listening habits throughout the year. Similar to Spotify Wrapped, Replay highlights users’ top songs, artists, albums, and genres, along with new interactive features that make it more engaging than ever.
For iOS 18.1 and later users, Replay is now accessible directly from the Apple Music app under the Home, New, and Search tabs. Those on older operating systems or Android can visit replay.music.apple.com to access their stats. Apple has also introduced several upgrades this year, including expanded listener insights, “listening streaks,” and Replay By Month, which showcases your most-played tracks, artists, and albums for each month of 2024.
Key features in Replay 2024
- Top listener rankings: Users can now discover if they are among the top 100, 500, or 1,000 listeners for their favorite artists or genres, an expansion from last year’s top 100 list.
- Listening streaks: See the longest streak of consecutive days you’ve listened to Apple Music and identify artist-specific streaks.
- Date of first play: Replay now reveals the exact date you first listened to your favorite song, artist, or album.
- Monthly highlights: Explore your year month by month, with insights into your top tracks and artists each month.
- Enhanced visuals: The Highlight Reel features animated cards accompanied by music, offering a visually dynamic way to share your stats on social media.
Apple also launched Replay for Artists, a tool that mirrors Spotify’s Artist Wrapped. This feature provides artists with data on their top listeners, most-streamed cities, and tracks discovered through Shazam. With these updates, Replay aims to serve both fans and creators.
2024 year-end charts highlights
Global Top Songs: Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us topped the charts, followed by Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things and Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso.
Most-Read Lyrics: Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts led this category with their track Bling-Bang-Bang-Born.
Top 100: Sing: Creepy Nuts also dominated here, with Taylor Swift’s Cruel Summer and Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather making strong appearances.
Replay continues to improve its appeal with deeper insights and a more integrated experience, solidifying its position as a worthy competitor to Spotify Wrapped.
