Apple’s Beats brand has teamed up with Kim Kardashian once again to introduce new special-edition colors for the recently relaunched Beats Pill speaker. This marks the third collaboration between Beats and Kardashian, following their previous partnerships for the Beats Fit Pro in 2022 and the Beats Studio Pro earlier this year. The latest edition of the Beats Pill will be available in two new shades, Light Gray and Dark Gray, maintaining the neutral color palette that has become a signature of Kardashian’s collaborations with the company.
Kardashian expressed her excitement about the new release, saying, “Music is a big part of my everyday life, from morning gym sessions to creative brainstorms, and the Beats Pill makes it that much more beautiful.” In conjunction with the launch, Beats is rolling out a new ad campaign featuring Kardashian alongside comedian Ben Marshall of Please Don’t Destroy. The ad humorously follows Marshall as Kardashian’s “Pill Assistant,” responsible for carrying the speaker and curating her playlists throughout her day.
The latest version of the Beats Pill, reintroduced in June after a brief hiatus, offers several upgrades, making it a more powerful and versatile portable speaker. With a revamped speaker system, the Beats Pill boasts improved bass output, reduced harmonic distortion, and a 20º upward tilt for enhanced sound projection. It also includes new features like a removable lanyard, USB-C charging, Bluetooth support, and up to 24 hours of battery life. Amplify Mode and Stereo Mode allow users to sync two Beats Pill speakers for larger sound or stereo separation. The Beats Pill can also function as a speakerphone, using noise-canceling algorithms to deliver clear, high-quality calls.
Priced at $149.99, the Beats x Kim Kardashian special-edition Beats Pill will be available starting October 18 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Customers in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, China, and Japan will be able to purchase the new colors from Apple’s online store, select Apple retail locations, and other retailers like Amazon. Fans who prefer other colors can also find discounted options, such as Champagne Gold and Matte Black, available for $129.99.
